We help people make positive changes in their lives and communities, using technology and the arts to come up with creative solutions to problems and tackle the issues that are important to them.
Since our first photography project in 1996, we've supported people of all ages to get involved in community activism, education, employment, and local decision-making.
We're based in Knowle West, South Bristol, and work within our local community and beyond. In 2015-2016 we worked with 6,393 individuals and over the last five years we've supported over 1,500 people to learn a skill they didn’t know before and enabled the development of 9 new enterprises.
Your donations help us reach and support more people – often those most at risk of being isolated and marginalised – and enable us to offer a broader range of creative activities to help them build the lives and communities they want.
“The experiences here have given me the confidence in myself to get out and try new things but if I didn’t have those experiences I wouldn’t think I could do that.” (Levi, 2016)
“I’ve learned that I know so much more than I think I do. I’ve also realised the value of working in a team if you’re trying to take social action and my confidence has really grown...” (Emma, 2016)
We are proud to have been awarded funding from Arts Council England through the Catalyst Evolve programme. Through this fund all donations we receive will be match funded, doubling their value to us.
